Margo's Suite

A romantic two-room suite with a queen-size bed which has a beautiful padded fabric headboard, antique painted chests, and cozy eyelid windows. The second room is a quaint sitting room, perfect for reading the morning paper over coffee or tea, doing a jigsaw puzzle, or just catching up with each other. Both rooms have been newly wallpapered. There is a private bath with an antique claw-foot bathtub (bubble bath included, of course!) to which we have added an antique brass shower. This is one of our most popular room especially for honeymooners! Rate: $169 plus applicable taxes.

Betty's Suite

A two-room suite filled with Federal Period antiques and reproductions. The queen-size pediment bed is beautifully fitted with down pillows and a warm, floral comforter. The second room is a charming sitting room with a large sofa for lounging during the day, which may be converted to an extra queen bed to turn this suite into a luxurious family suite. Doors shut between the suite's rooms to offer privacy for each room. Both rooms also have their own separate doors leading out to the hallway, which leads to the private hall bathroom, a few steps from the room. The bathroom has a tub and shower. Rate: $159 plus applicable taxes. An additional $25.00 charge per person (above two guests) applies.

The Banneker Room

This light and airy room has an antique queen size four poster rice bed that is so tall we provide a step to get up on it! This room offers a wood-burning fireplace (fire log provided). The new entertainment nook has an armoire which houses your TV/VCR with full cable (three channels of HBO!) The new private bathroom has a large double Jacuzzi style tub, a separate shower with an overhead Rain Forest showerhead and a marble top vanity with a seating area for lady’s makeup preparations. *Rate: $199 plus applicable taxes*

The Ellicott Room

An artistic rendering of Main Street, Ellicott City in the middle 1800s, highlights the soft décor of this room, which has a beautiful queen size sleigh bed. Lounge in the cozy settee while reading or watching a movie. This room has a wood-burning fireplace (fire log provided). The large private bathroom has a large Jacuzzi style tub for two plus a large glass enclosed shower with a seat and an overhead Rain Forest showerhead! There is also a large marble top vanity big enough for two to get ready for a night out at one of Ellicott City’s fine restaurants. *Rate: $199 plus applicable taxes*

The Pierpoint Suite

This suite is the height of luxury! The large bedroom has a four poster queen size bed flanked by windows decorated with fine silk draperies. Above the wood burning fireplace, a louvered cabinet may be opened to reveal a large plasma television to watch cable TV or one of our many movies we have at your disposal. Or relax in the large adjoining sitting room which has a full size sofa, chairs and lighting perfect for reading, playing games or a having an intimate conversation. Please feel free to borrow from our extensive selection of classical CD’s to play on your Bose CD/Radio player. And surprise— the sitting room has a fireplace too! The suite has an ensuite, newly remodeled bathroom with a HUGE shower for two. This shower has an overhead Rain Forest showerhead, three adjustable body jets, and a seat. The Terrace Room

The Terrace Room is our newest, most intimate and private room. This ground level room, which is contained in a new addition attached to the original Inn, has its own private entrance from a private terrace. When the weather is nice, enjoy the terrace overlooking the gardens and pond, enjoy a glass of wine and an afternoon snack (provided by your innkeeper upon request) or just sit and enjoy a good book from our library.

The room has a Queen sized bed with a Sealy Posturepedic mattress which faces a gas fireplace and a large Hi Def flat screen TV. The Inn has Verizon Fios Cable with over 300 Stations (many in Hi Def), including over 50 Movie stations and 100 Music channels. The ensuite Bathroom has a huge air jetted tub for two (one of the largest made), and a separate shower with an overhead rainforest shower head and three body jets.

The Terrace Room is perfect for Wedding Nights as well as for guests who may not want to walk up the flights of stairs to the rooms in the original Inn. It also has a private staircase leading up into our beautiful new, all season sun porch. All in all, we think this is destined to be one of the most popular rooms at the Wayside Inn.

Check-in times are between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm daily. Check out is by 11:00 am.
All rooms are centrally air conditioned and heated, and have televisions, with Verizon Fios™ cable with over 300 channels. All rooms also have VCRs and some have DVDs.
Betty's Suite is the only room that can accommodate more than two people. There is a $25.00 charge for each additional person in that room, regardless of age.
A full breakfast is served each morning and is included in the price of your room. We are happy to accommodate many varied dietary requests (Vegetarian, Gluten Free, etc.) upon request.
Afternoon refreshments are served everyday between 5:00 and 6:00 pm, upon prior request.
One night deposit required upon reservation. A seventy-two hour cancellation notice is required for a full refund; A one week cancellation notice is required for all major holidays or for special events for full refund.
The Wayside Inn is pet free and smoke-free.
